Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team of Territory Account Specialists to deliver strategic sales objectives; set and supervise KPIs.
- Model expectations and drive continuous improvement; create an accountable, high-performance culture.
- Monitor and mentor Territory Account Specialists to effectively orchestrate total account calls and meet customer needs.
- Develop and execute a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to optimize customer experience and product demand.
- Partner with regional leadership to support regional goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Build clinical value through cross-functional collaboration with Healthcare Providers, Key Accounts, and Systems of Care (SoC); promote Novartis as a preferred customer partner.
- Use clinical, access, reimbursement knowledge, territory management, and omni-channel tools; leverage analytics to identify risk/opportunity.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years as a first-line sales manager (strategy + enterprise mindset) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex, geographically dispersed sales environments.
- Proven success attracting/developing diverse talent and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to drive sales growth, lead cross-functional partnerships, and execute in multi-regional environments.
- Highly valued: experience managing field organizations through change/innovation/growth.
- Candidate must reside within territory or within 100 miles of the border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable:
- Experience leading teams in promotion to large practices/hospitals/IDNs/SoC with reimbursement knowledge (outpatient and inpatient).
