Allergy Access & Reimbursement Manager-Midwest

Role: Field-based Access & Reimbursement Manager supporting healthcare providers and accounts within an assigned territory, focusing on optimizing patient access to prescribed therapies through reimbursement and coverage support. Responsibilities: partner with providers, billing teams, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver education on access, reimbursement, and patient support programs; assist with claims, prior authorizations, and resolution of reimbursement challenges; monitor healthcare policy changes; support patient assistance and co-pay initiatives; develop account-specific access plans; and build relationships with diverse healthcare decision-makers. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years in reimbursement, market access, managed care, or related healthcare roles; experience supporting specialty pharmacy products, navigating buy-and-bill pathways, and working with injection networks or provider-administered therapies; knowledge of billing, coding, claims, and reimbursement processes. High-Value: support of biologics or specialty therapies, predominantly in outpatient or physician office settings; significant travel (60-80%), with a valid driver’s license; proficiency in navigating complex healthcare reimbursement landscapes. Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams including Patient Support Services, and represent Novartis with integrity.
