The AI Solutions Engineer partners with business functions to identify, design, build, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, compliance, and business performance.
Essential Functions
- Solution delivery: Design, build, and productionize AI/GenAI solutions across Finance, HR, Legal, and Corporate Development (e.g., contract review, financial close support, recruiting/talent workflows, audit analytics)
- Use case identification/prioritization: Partner with AI Champions and IT Business Partners to scope and prioritize use cases against value drivers (Revenue, Cost, Working Capital, Speed, Risk/Compliance)
- Vendor solution integration: Integrate/extend vendor/SaaS tools (Phenom, BrightHire, Oracle AI, Synthesia, contract-review automation) into the governed platform
- Data-to-AI pipelines: Build RAG/GenAI pipelines against Gold-layer Databricks data (chunking, embedding, RBAC propagation); handle PII-sensitive HR/Legal data with elevated care
- Governance/security compliance: Submit designs via AI Security Review Gate and Architecture Review Board; enforce AI-WISE, SOX audit-trail, and data-privacy controls
- Adoption/enablement: Train AI Champions/SPOCs; document usage; support biweekly Business-IT governance sessions
- Measurement/reporting: Track performance (hours saved, audit findings, hiring-cycle time, contract turnaround) and report ROI
Additional Responsibilities
- Embedded IT delivery resource across Finance/HR/Legal/Corporate Development
- Apply extra scrutiny to PII/confidential-information handling
- Escalate architecture/model-routing/security questions to the Enterprise AI Architect
- Flag capacity constraints; provide input on a 12-month split evaluation
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree (CS, Data/Information Science, Engineering, or related) or equivalent work experience
- Preferred: Masterโs degree (CS, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related)
- Required: 5+ years software/AI/data engineering; built and shipped production GenAI/ML applications (not proof-of-concept)
