AI Security Engineer

Role: AI Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for the company's AI/ML platform on AWS, ensuring data protection, model integrity, and compliance. Responsibilities: develop security controls for AI models and data pipelines, design secure AWS architectures, collaborate on AI governance policies, conduct risk assessments, and monitor threats; support cross-functional teams with security best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years focused on AI/ML or cloud security; hands-on experience with AWS security tools, AI frameworks, and security governance. Preferred: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CEH, AI-focused certifications. HighValue: cloud security (AWS), AI governance, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), experience with healthcare or biotech data, and large-scale AI/ML projects. Work setup: remote with monthly in-office or conference presence; based in or near San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred.
