Role: AI Engineer supporting drug discovery through advanced AI model development and deployment in Lilly's Silicon Valley AI co-innovation lab. Responsibilities: build, train, evaluate, and deploy AI models; collaborate with AI Scientists, ML Ops, Data Engineers, and NVIDIA experts; develop scalable, resilient AI systems; ensure ethical data handling and model security; contribute to scientific and engineering innovation. Requirements: Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field; at least 4 years of hands-on experience in ML system engineering, taking models from research to production; proficiency in Python (PyTorch/JAX), distributed training (multi-GPU), model serving (Triton, TensorRT), full-stack development, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Preferred: experience with large-scale model training/deployment, C++/CUDA, and scientific Python stack.
