Agentic AI Solutions, Associate Director

Role: Agentic AI Solutions Lead within Lilly's External Supply Chain & Operations (ESCO) team, focusing on developing AI-enabled workflows and decision-support tools to streamline sourcing, technical transfer, and supplier management processes. Responsibilities: design, build, and deploy AI applications, knowledge extraction systems, and agent skills to automate manual tasks like capacity assessment and document analysis; develop end-to-end supply chain intelligence agents; implement responsible AI, MLOps, and validation practices; collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, procurement, and digital teams; mentor colleagues and advance AI capabilities aligned with supply chain needs. Requirements: Master's degree with 5+ years in AI/ML, software engineering, or a related STEM field; 2+ years building AI solutions in Python/R; strong problem framing, stakeholder communication, and applying AI to supply chain contexts. Preferred: PhD, experience in pharmaceuticals or regulated industries, knowledge graphs, LLM, RAG, and cloud infrastructure expertise. High-Value: supply chain automation, AI/ML engineering, knowledge extraction from complex documents, responsible AI, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
