Advanced Manufacturing Technician

Role Summary

Advanced Manufacturing Technician role focusing on assisting laboratory staff with building and manufacturing science products, including tasks such as filling containers, setting up and running automated bottling machines, labeling, and data recording. 1st shift hours are 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex manufacturing processes and procedures to produce high-quality products.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and research and development, to ensure that production targets are met.
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes are conducted in accordance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes and product specifications.
• Train and mentor junior manufacturing technicians.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Or, Associate degree preferred with up to 1 year of relevant experience
• 4 year science degree with no experience

• Works independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Works well both independently and in a team environment
