Role Summary
The responsibilities of the Advanced Manufacturing Technician are to assist the laboratory staff with the process of building and manufacturing science products. This position will assist with a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include filling containers with product, setting up and running automated bottling machine, labeling product and recording data. This position offers 1st shift hours of 8:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex manufacturing processes and procedures to produce high-quality products.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and research and development, to ensure that production targets are met.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes are conducted in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes and product specifications.
- Train and mentor junior manufacturing technicians.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 year of relevant experience
- Or, Associate degree preferred with Up to 1 year of relevant experience
- 4 year science degree with no experience
