Position Summary
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining manufacturing processes across Filling, Kitting, Packaging, and Shipping. Ensures systems run to specifications and comply with regulations while supporting cross-functional teams to optimize materials, labor, equipment, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, and implement automation processes using robotics, vision systems, and COBOTs.
- Use Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and CI tools to improve KPIs.
- Improve OTD, lead times, backlog, and customer-facing metrics.
- Develop and implement procedures to streamline processes and improve product quality.
- Generate and execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols.
- Troubleshoot automation and root cause issues; hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in process development for new products.
- Research, specify, and procure automated equipment; qualify suppliers/materials and generate validation protocols.
- Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision; follow company SOPs and policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with up to 3 years.
- 3–5 years automation or process engineering experience.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and CI methodologies.
- Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Minitab/JMP; strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-department and troubleshoot equipment/systems.

Working/Physical Requirements
- On-site role supporting multiple production departments; may require extended hours.
- Ability to stand, move through production areas, and operate equipment as necessary.
