Key Responsibilities:
- Design the end-to-end service experience for an enterprise data context self-service capability.
- Map user journeys across publishers, consumers, administrators, and governance stakeholders.
- Create service blueprints connecting front-stage interactions to back-stage processes, systems, and support.
- Define workflows for publishing context, discovering context, requesting access, validating context quality, and managing versions/updates.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, governance, and security teams.
- Identify pain points/service gaps and simplify adoption.
- Design patterns supporting human users and AI-enabled/agentic workflows relying on structured context.
- Contribute to standards/principles for self-service, discoverability, consistency, and trust.
- Prototype and test service flows; define metrics (task completion, adoption, support load, time-to-onboard).
- Ensure designs are operationally feasible and documented.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in service design/experience design/design strategy.
- Experience designing complex enterprise services, digital platforms, or self-service.
- Strong journey mapping, service blueprinting, and operational process skills.
- Ability to mock up UIs (Figma or similar).
- Comfort partnering with technical teams on data platforms/APIs/workflows.
- Familiarity with data context/metadata/ontology/semantics.
- Working knowledge of agentic AI, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
- Strong facilitation/communication/stakeholder management.
What Success Looks Like:
- Intuitive navigation; minimal-friction self-service; works across human and AI workflows; trusted, scalable, aligned front/back; growing adoption with reduced support.
