Responsibilities:
- Provide complex administrative support for DATA leaders and global team members; work independently and with others to complete projects on time.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Support meeting management, expenses, and other administrative needs.
- Initiate/manage vendor and supplier onboarding; manage purchase orders; process accounts payable invoices/check requests in SAP; track invoice payments.
- Plan staff meetings and events (scheduling, logistics, agenda/meeting minutes); help create engaging staff event experiences.
- Support onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Prepare routine reports using software tools.
- Assist with communications across groups and media (digital, email, spoken).
- Provide timely, detail-oriented support for other needed projects.
- Manage complex calendars and schedule meetings (Outlook) across multiple time zones.
- Arrange complex travel (ground transportation/logistics) and prepare expense reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience
OR
- High school diploma/GED and 4 years of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Amgen experience; Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years supporting large teams
- Strong organization; manage multiple calendars across time zones
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, MyBuy, SAP, C3, Skype, Concur
- Excellent written/verbal/presentation skills; cross-functional partner communication
- Solution-oriented team player; strategic/logistics thinking; fast-paced deadline experience
- Discretion with proprietary information; strong travel/meeting planning skills
- Biopharma industry experience
