Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Patient Support Services leads Patient Support Services (PSS) strategies and initiatives, including messaging and training to drive customer engagement and overcome access barriers across the portfolio with a focus on Neuroscience. Advances hub processes and enhances support programs to serve Acadia’s customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with PSS field teams to evolve/improve services and execute hub/PSS strategies.
- Collaborate on market research and lead PSS projects to refine programs for HCP and patient needs (Neuroscience focus).
- Lead access marketing planning and execution (alignment with Brand Marketing and Access & Reimbursement; brand planning support; customer experience; hub priorities, content, tools, and training for national meetings and customer-facing teams).
- Serve as access services expert; recommend solutions to address unmet needs.
- Lead planning/development/management of access website, materials, messaging, and programming (e.g., copay/sample programs, reimbursement and patient financial support).
- Develop/track KPIs; assess impact and execution using feedback and internal stakeholder input.
- Attend professional/provider/patient conferences; stay current on innovation.
- Manage vendor relationships; ensure service quality, delivery, and budget oversight.
- Create/present data for business reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Access & Reimbursement, Specialty Trade & Distribution, Brand Marketing, Sales, Field Access, Patient Advocacy) and ensure legal/regulatory/compliance standards.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years in patient support services/program strategy/healthcare operations within pharma/biotech.

Must Possess:
- Specialty medication experience (rare disease/neuropsychiatric; Medicare Part D preferred)
- Proven project management; high-impact program development/execution
- Agency/vendor management (preferred)
- Strong customer relationship, interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional influence skills
- Patient-centric/service-oriented mindset; results-oriented and detail-accurate; meet deadlines
- Ability to drive multiple projects; strong presentation skills; fast learner/creative/flexible
- Ability to travel 30%
