About the Role
- US operational lead and subject matter expert for professional engagements, enabling compliant execution of HCP and patient speaker programs, speaker trainings, advisory boards, and consulting engagements across all brands.
- Lead a team of P2P professionals providing operational oversight for FFS engagement processes: approvals, screening, contracting, vendor support, reporting, and compliance monitoring.

How You Will Contribute
- Optimize the end-to-end operating model for professional engagement activities; propose solutions and adjust to leadership direction.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team; set expectations, provide feedback, and drive accountability.
- Serve as primary point of contact for brands and internal partners to ensure compliant, effective P2P execution.
- Act as SME on Takeda policies/SOPs, compliance standards, benchmarking, and best practices.
- Drive enhancements to improve speaker/attendee experience and operational efficiency; measure via KPIs (e.g., participant satisfaction, resolution time, cycle time, cost savings).
- Oversee resource materials (FAQs, work instructions, training guides).
- Lead creation of executive-ready reports/tools for decision-making and performance tracking.
- Facilitate strategic discussions with internal/external stakeholders; align needs with organizational strategy.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Ethics & Compliance, Legal, and external vendors.

Basic Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharma operations, medical affairs, or commercial program management.
- Experience leading P2P programs, advisory boards, or speaker programs; ability to engage/influence leaders.
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and how dynamics shape compliance priorities.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM, event management, and reporting tools.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or related).
- Experience with large-scale, multi-region P2P programs.
- Analytics familiarity (field impact/ROI).
- Experience in centralized US Customer Engagement or Commercial Operations.
- People leadership experience (performance management, coaching).
- Executive-level communications experience.
- Limited travel up to 10%.
