Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access to aligned therapeutic area products; provide face-to-face (or virtual as needed) education to providers and staff.
- Work with therapeutic area office stakeholders (executives, providers, administrators, billing/coding, claims, revenue cycle managers) to support patient access.
- Analyze problems and provide solutions for patient reimbursement; support provider-level reimbursement with third-party payers.
- Support pull-through of local coverage decisions; proactively communicate policy changes/issues.
- Maintain expertise in regional/local access landscape and act as the aligned therapeutic area reimbursement expert.
- Interface with Patient Support Center and Access & Reimbursement Managers on case management (tracking, issue resolution, reimbursement support, office staff education).
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Customer Engagement/Sales, Market Access) to share insights on access/reimbursement needs and barriers.
- Educate HCPs on acquisition pathways, including buy-and-bill end-to-end workflows and facility pull-through (centralized/decentralized acquisition; white/clear/brown bagging; alternate site of care).

Buy and Bill Specific:
- Assess access situation in assigned geography; develop and communicate a Plan of Action (POA).
- Educate stakeholders on ordering, payment, inventory, and product returns/replacement.
- Analyze reimbursement issues and serve as designated reimbursement expert for offices/field teams.
- Engage non-prescribers (pharmacy, system leadership, financial counselors, administrators, revenue cycle managers).

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (business and/or biological science preferred); advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in Patient Services/Market Access/Sales/account management; 2+ years in a Patient Services practice support role for specialty products.
- Experience with highly complex practices/health systems; strategic/proactive account management.
- Deep expertise integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
- Experience with specialty products via Specialty Pharmacy networks.
- Knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, retail).
- Reside within territory or within 60 miles daily commute; travel 60–80% within territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
