About the Role
Represent ANI’s PCG (Purified Cortrophin Gel) for Acute Gouty Arthritis to Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals. Drive market development, disease awareness, and patient identification strategies in the Dallas, TX area (and surrounding territory).
Responsibilities
- Promote PCG for Acute Gouty Arthritis through clinical education and strategic engagement with targeted HCPs.
- Build and execute territory-specific plans to drive physician awareness, patient identification, and market growth.
- Educate providers and staff on treatment access, insurance coverage, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Medical Affairs to ensure patient onboarding and therapy initiation.
- Maintain detailed communication logs and follow-up documentation.
- Cold call and engage new accounts across Primary Care, Podiatry, and Orthopedics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure logistical readiness and patient support.
- Build and scale a new commercial footprint in an expanding Acute Care business.
- Demonstrate compliance and integrity in all interactions.
Skills / Competencies (Required/Preferred)
- Strong understanding of patient access, prior authorizations, and appeals.
- Familiarity with gout flares and treatment pathways.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate complex insurance/documentation requirements.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience coordinating care across stakeholders.
- Specialty distribution and patient support services familiarity is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; RN/clinical background a plus.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.
- Experience with Primary Care, Podiatry, or Orthopedic practices strongly preferred.
- Travel overnight 40–60%.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary range: $140,000–$170,000.
- Eligible for short-term and long-term incentive program.
