Purpose:
The Receivables Analyst independently performs timely, accurate, and complete account analysis, claim resolution, and collection activity for key accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts for potential risk; develop and negotiate payment plans for past due accounts (including financial jeopardy); determine approval needs, escalate, and recommend changes to credit limits.
- Identify root causes of complex claims/payment issues and trends in aging; use SAP, QlikView, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare reports/trend analysis and present business cases to management and customers.
- Manage customer communications (emails, calls, meetings), support cross-functional process improvement teams, train new employees, and lead AR presentations as needed.
- Reconcile serialized accounts by researching open invoices/deductions; resolve disputes and outstanding debits; drive cash flow, limit risk/bad debt expense, and reduce DSO.
- Escalate issues with coherent recommendations; independently manage divisional/corporate accounting, budget, and reporting; establish/lead intra-department process improvement teams.
- Manage multiple priorities, follow policies/procedures, and recommend policy updates.
- Participate in/lead departmental projects; maintain documentation and deliver tasks within time/budget constraints.
- Use and maintain AbbVie information systems (including SAP, QlikView, Microsoft Office, credit/collections systems).

Qualifications:
- High school graduation required.
- B.A./B.S. in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- 5–7 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance/Receivables/Customer Service (or relevant) with degree, or 8+ years required.
- SAP experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred (Pivot Tables, functions, graphing; exporting/formatting data a plus).
