Accounting Manager

Role: Accounting Manager overseeing the general ledger close process within a fast-paced, high-growth biopharma environment, supporting research and development activities focused on rare diseases and innovative modalities. Responsibilities: manage monthly/quarterly closes, review journal entries, lead team members, own SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), and handle complex biotech accounting areas such as leases (ASC 842), fixed assets, and G&A expenses. Ensure SOX compliance, coordinate audits, develop policies, and lead process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's in accounting, CPA preferred; 7+ years of experience combining Big 4 or similar audit background with industry exposure, preferably in biotech. Skills: technical accounting proficiency, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), familiarity with AI tools, strong leadership, and communication skills. High-Value: biotech-focused accounting, SEC reporting, leasing and fixed assets, process enhancements, and compliance in a high-growth R&D setting.
