Accounting Manager

Role: Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing core accounting operations during active commercial launch of a biopharma product for retinal disease, ensuring accurate SEC filings and scalable processes. Responsibilities: manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, apply US GAAP (revenue recognition, SEC reporting), maintain internal controls, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Commercial, and Operations. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in progressive accounting roles with public-company experience, strong GAAP and SEC knowledge, hands-on month-end close and reconciliation skills, proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), advanced Excel. Preferred: CPA, industry experience in biopharma or life sciences, Big 4 background, experience scaling processes during product launch. High-Value: commercial-stage biopharma, active product launch, US GAAP, SEC reporting, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, remote/hybrid US-based role, travel support.
