Accounting Manager

Role: Accounting Manager specializing in R&D and manufacturing expense accounting within a biopharma context, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX. Responsibilities: review and analyze clinical trial agreements, vendor contracts, and manufacturing-related expenses; prepare and validate accruals based on operational data, milestones, and contractual terms; perform variance analyses and manage accounting activities for CMO, drug supply, and development costs. Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Research, FP&A, and external auditors; support audits, and drive process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred; 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance with a focus on accruals; strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, financial systems, and clinical trial accrual tools.
