Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in single-layer geography by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance customers along the sales continuum; deliver on-label presentations to highlight benefits/risks, address gaps, and achieve sales goals.
- Differentiate the Anti-Infective value proposition at all levels (C-suite, physicians, hospital staff/support personnel).
- Solve product and patient flow issues across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill; coordinate stakeholders across departments.
- Use customer needs and market intelligence to build compliant programs and initiatives; target decision makers to expand physician usage and customer base.
- Create and monitor strategic geography business plans; align resources and adjust tactics.
- Source and use account data to maintain account profiles and relationship maps; maximize call continuum.
- Attend and participate in relevant HCP meetings; represent AbbVie on-label and share key information internally.
- Complete required training and maintain policy/legal compliance; meet HCIR credentialing to enter facilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with in-field and in-house teams and Medical Science Liaisons.

Qualifications (required/preferred):
- Bachelor’s in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or 5+ years relevant industry experience required (3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred); high school diploma/GED required.
- Account-based selling experience in hospitals and/or infusion/wound care; experience navigating complex/matrixed environments (e.g., IDNs, academic institutions).
- Knowledge of formulary approval; Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Proven top-tier sales performance; strong advanced sales/presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen, planning/organization, ability to analyze data, and influence without authority.
- Ability to fully cover assigned geography; valid driver’s license.
- Travel as needed and ability to drive personal/Company vehicle.
- Ability to satisfy and maintain HCIR credentialing (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses).
