Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager – TEPEZZA
Responsibilities:
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and manage total territory accounts.
- Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling in compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with stakeholders/matrix teams.
- Build customer relationships; understand needs/goals and communicate internally.
- Meet/exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity accurately/timely.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback on changing environment/results to sales/business leadership and internal departments.
- Adhere to compliance policies/guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Coordinate with patient services and market access teams; educate HCPs and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant field teams to support full account needs.
- Attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete company training; complete administrative duties; contribute to a high-performance team; perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 3 yrs sales in pharma/biotech/medical devices or hospital sales (Level 4)
- OR Associate + 6 yrs (Level 4)
- OR HS/GED + 8 yrs (Level 4)
- OR Doctorate + 2 yrs account management/sales/commercial (Level 5)
- OR Master’s + 6 yrs (Level 5)
- OR Bachelor’s + 8 yrs (Level 5)
- OR Associate + 10 yrs (Level 5)
Preferred skills:
- Buy-and-bill success; biologic/infusion experience.
- Endocrinology/Ophthalmology and/or rare/specialty disease sales.
- Site-of-care and reimbursement; institutions/IDN experience.
- Pharma account management selling; coordinate across field teams.
- ~80% travel; Microsoft Office proficiency; professional/proactive; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
