Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - Tavneos - Denver, CO

What You Will Do
- Represent Tavneos to physicians and healthcare professionals to establish product demand and provide comprehensive account management in a designated territory.
- Serve as a central point of contact and educate medical professionals/external stakeholders on disease state awareness and product information.
- Drive product utilization by identifying and addressing unique account needs; build relationships, coordinate cross-functional field teams, and execute strategies to ensure access, education, and support for rare disease treatments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed sales objectives.
- Promote Tavneos within approved labeling ethically and in compliance.
- Provide patient-centered education as a disease expert/trusted partner.
- Build/manage relationships across the patient care ecosystem (physicians, nurses, office staff, case managers, infusion centers, caregivers).
- Engage diverse healthcare settings (private practices, academic institutions, IDNs, community hospitals, specialty clinics).
- Address patient access, reimbursement, and pull-through challenges cross-functionally.
- Coordinate matrix teams (e.g., MSLs, Market Access, Nurse Educators, TLLs) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead/support referral networks and site-of-care pathways.
- Build KOL relationships; contribute field insights/market intelligence.
- Use approved tools, peer education, and digital engagement.
- Maximize promotional resources within territory budget.
- Represent at medical congresses/society meetings/events.
- Complete training and administrative responsibilities per company policies/compliance.
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4)
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales OR Associate + 6 years OR High school/GED + 8 years in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales.
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5)
- Doctorate + 2 years OR Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Associate + 10 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Rheumatology/Nephrology or rare/specialty disease experience; specialty pharmacy experience.
- Institutional experience; strong scientific/clinical knowledge; interpret clinical data.
- Strategic territory planning; ~30% travel; Microsoft Office; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
