Role Summary

Account Manager / Specialty Account Manager for Tavneos in Bryn Mawr, PA. Territory includes King of Prussia and Newtown Square, PA. Represent Tavneos to physicians and healthcare professionals, drive product utilization, and deliver comprehensive account management within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives, aligned with broader commercial and strategic account goals.
  • Promote Tavneos within approved labeling in a fair, balanced, and ethical manner per compliance guidelines.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and disease expert to healthcare professionals by delivering patient-centered education on disease state and product information.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders across the patient care ecosystem (physicians, nurses, office staff, case managers, infusion centers, caregivers).
  • Navigate diverse healthcare settings (private practices, academic institutions, IDNs, community hospitals, specialty clinics).
  • Address patient access, reimbursement, and pull-through challenges with cross-functional teams (field access, patient services, case managers).
  • Coordinate internal matrix teams (MSLs, Market Access, Nurse Educators, TLLs) to deliver integrated solutions driving engagement and utilization.
  • Develop referral networks and site-of-care pathways to enable seamless patient initiation and continuity of care.
  • Establish relationships with local/regional KOLs to expand reach within the therapeutic landscape.
  • Contribute field insights and market intelligence to inform strategy, resource deployment, and planning.
  • Leverage tools, education programs, and digital channels to extend reach with key stakeholders.
  • Maximize use of promotional resources and manage territory budget to support objectives.
  • Represent the company at medical congresses, society meetings, and educational events to maintain knowledge.
  • Complete training and administrative tasks timely while upholding all policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4): Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device or hospital sales experience; OR Associate degree and 6 years; OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years.
  • Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5): Doctorate with 2 years, or Master’s with 6 years, or Bachelor’s with 8 years, or Associate degree with 10 years of collective account management experience in sales/commercial roles.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Reimbursement navigation, site-of-care education, and patient access coordination experience; coordination with office staff, infusion centers, and patient services teams; Rheumatology/Nephrology exposure preferred; familiarity with Tavneos products; experience working with administrators in practices and hospital systems; matrix collaboration skills; knowledge of payer policies and formulary navigation; strong communication and relationship-building skills; self-motivation and adaptability; proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual tools; willingness to travel up to ~80% (including overnight/weekend).
