What You Will Do
- Represent UPLIZNA to physicians and health care professionals; establish product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Provide account management support for accounts in a specific geography/marketplace; drive product demand; coordinate relevant field teams.
- Develop a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote UPLIZNA within approved labeling in a fair, ethical, compliant manner.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders/matrix team members.
- Build strong customer relationships; communicate customer needs/goals to internal teams.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity accurately and timely.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback on results and changing environment to leadership and internal departments.
- Work closely with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and Amgen field teams to support account needs.
- Educate HCPs and office staff on site-of-care options; attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources; complete company training; complete administrative duties; contribute to a high-performance team; perform other tasks as requested.
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4)
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales; OR Associate + 6 years; OR HS/GED + 8 years.
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5)
- Doctorate + 2 years collective account management/sales/commercial; OR Master’s + 6 years; OR Bachelor’s + 8 years; OR Associate + 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reimbursement navigation, site-of-care education, and/or patient access coordination.
- Experience coordinating with office staff, infusion centers, and patient services; buy-and-bill and/or biologic/infusion experience.
- Build relationships; educate on complex disease states; adapt communication; site-of-care and reimbursement experience; work with institutions/integrated delivery networks.
- Pharma account management selling; coordinate across field teams.
- ~80% travel; proficient in Microsoft Office; professional/proactive; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
