Specialty Account Manager, IgG4-RD

Responsibilities
- Represent Amgen products to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Provide disease information and education to medical professionals and external customers involved in patient care.
- Consistently achieve assigned sales objectives through patient-centered disease and product education to HCPs while adhering to corporate compliance guidelines.
- Execute strategic account business plans to implement marketing plan goals.
- Demonstrate experience working in a matrix environment (e.g., case managers, medical affairs, patient access).
- Use available resources/programs (e.g., peer-to-peer education and cross-functional partners) to address knowledge gaps.
- Identify opportunities across the healthcare landscape (academic institutions, IDNs, ACOs, private practices, community hospital systems).
- Build productive relationships with key local/regional/national KOLs in assigned coverage areas and therapeutic areas.
- Maintain in-depth disease and therapeutic clinical/scientific knowledge.
- Use a consultative, technically oriented solution-selling approach for IgG4-RD.
- Adhere to compliance/corporate policies, including appropriate documentation and reporting.

Qualifications
Basic (Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 years sales OR Associate + 6 years sales OR HS/GED + 8 years sales (pharma/biotech/med device or hospital sales).
Basic (Level 5): Doctorate + 2 years account management/sales/commercial OR Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Associate + 10 years.
Preferred
- 7+ years biotech/specialty pharma/rare disease sales; 3+ years rare disease/orphan (ultra-orphan/launch preferred) and/or immunology/rheumatology.
- 3+ years in-office injection/infusion sales requiring patient access coordination.
- Matrix-selling experience with patient services, market access, medical affairs, reimbursement; strong patient-centricity.
- Independent work, strong communication, organization/analytical/computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- 20–30% travel (some overnight/weekend).
