Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager โ TEPEZZA
What You Will Do
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals, establish product sales, and manage a total territory account portfolio.
- Specialty Account Manager provides account management support within a specific geography, driving product demand and coordinating field teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling in compliance with legal/regulatory and corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate to address access, pull-through, and reimbursement.
- Build customer relationships by understanding customer needs/goals and communicating them internally.
- Meet/exceed corporate sales goals; report territory activity accurately and on time.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to leadership and internal departments on results and changing environment.
- Adhere to compliance policies (including PhRMA code) and complete required company training.
- Work with patient services and market access teams; coordinate with accounts and Amgen field teams.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete administrative duties and contribute to a high-performance team.
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager โ Level 4)
- Bachelorโs + 3 years sales in pharma/biotech/medical devices or hospital sales
OR Associate + 6 years
OR HS/GED + 8 years
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager โ Level 5)
- Doctorate + 2 years collective account management/sales/commercial
OR Masterโs + 6 years
OR Bachelorโs + 8 years
OR Associate + 10 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Buy-and-bill and/or biologic/infusion experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states preferred.
- Site-of-care and reimbursement; institutions/IDNs; pharma account management with cross-team coordination preferred.
- ~80% travel (varies by territory), including some overnight/weekend work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
