Account Manager, Gene Therapy - Pacific Northwest

Role: Field-based Account Manager responsible for promoting and driving utilization of Genetix’s gene therapies within QTC accounts in the Pacific Northwest. Objectives include developing strategic account plans, educating healthcare providers and key stakeholders on gene therapy products, and increasing patient access and treatment initiation. Responsibilities involve delivering product education, overcoming account barriers through cross-functional collaboration, onboarding HCPs, and providing insights on account performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in healthcare sales or account management, preferably with experience in Hematology, Cell and Gene Therapy, or related specialty areas; proven success in hospital and outpatient settings; strong clinical selling skills; and experience developing KOL relationships. Preferred skills include direct leadership experience, entrepreneurial problem-solving, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office and sales tools like Veeva. The role demands up to 75% travel for face-to-face engagements. High-value specifics include focus on hemoglobinopathies such as Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia, with an emphasis on gene therapy treatments in clinical or commercial stages, and engagement with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in hospital and community environments.
