Position Summary
- Account Manager, US Petcare Division. Field-based role within the territory; travel required and some evening work for educational programs.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales objectives (quota) overall and for key growth products via demand generation in targeted geography.
- Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
- Consistently demonstrate Solution Selling.
- Build and demonstrate technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise.
- Build relationships with and service targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow account relevance/access.
- Interact with customers following Zoetis promotional guidelines.
- Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation to maximize ROI.
- Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity; investment in medical education programs).
- Execute an account and veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
- Work collaboratively with Zoetis Petcare colleagues and meet integrity/compliance, work ethic, role/responsibility, conduct/attire, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork expectations.
Qualifications/Experience
- BS/BA required.
- 3β10 years of consultative sales experience.
- Animal health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
- Analytical thinking/uses insights for decision-making; follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage assigned expense budgets.
Skills/Technical Requirements
- Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Good judgment; thoughtful/fair decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.
Benefits/Compensation (as listed)
- Base salary range: $69,360β$139,265.
