Access & Reimbursement Manager (Southern California)

Role: The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) specializes in patient access and reimbursement strategies for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), focusing on supporting healthcare providers and internal teams within their assigned geography. Responsibilities include guiding providers through FILSPARI onboarding, from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission to reimbursement, resolving complex access issues, and educating HCPs on reimbursement processes. The role involves proactive case management, escalated issue resolution, and collaboration with sales, hubs, specialty pharmacies, and REMS administrators to streamline patient progression. The ARM also identifies regional reimbursement barriers, educates internal and external stakeholders on payer landscape changes, and develops strategic account plans. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in pharma/healthcare with 3+ years in reimbursement/case management, with preferred experience in specialty pharma, nephrology, or rare diseases, particularly REMS. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in private and government insurance reimbursement, relationship building with HCPs, and proficiency in managing access complexities of new-to-market therapies. Field-based with up to 35% travel, the role requires strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills, with flexibility to operate within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. The position is remote in California, with credentialing requirements for onsite healthcare facility access.
