Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within the assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders (including HCPs and sales) in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as key contact for patient access and reimbursement in assigned geography.
- Lead FILSPARI onboarding expertise from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
- Educate physician practices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization/appeals, and steps to obtain reimbursement.
- Monitor cases through onboarding progression.
- Proactively resolve complex access issues with Hub, HCP offices, and field team; educate on escalated reimbursement issues.
- Support missing/incorrect PSF/REMS submissions by coordinating with Hub and REMS Administrator partners.
- Resolve access issues including prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, and REMS.
- Partner with reimbursement stakeholders (specialty pharmacy, sales, REMS administrator, etc.) to move patients through reimbursement.
- Maintain daily call/log notes in a standardized platform; lead weekly case-status update meetings.
- Identify reimbursement trends in geography; create quarterly business plans; educate sales and HCPs on payer changes.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field) required (equivalent education/experience considered).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, and/or HCPs.
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, REMs experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Experience:
- Manage access complexities for new-to-market medications.
- Prior account management; experience with complex payer/government/VA accounts.
- Specialty pharmacy/product experience (including buy-and-bill).
- Strong relationship-building with HCP offices, sales, and Hub.
- Knowledge of commercial and government payer reimbursement (e.g., Medicare Part D, VA).
- Ability to educate on reimbursement processes (benefit verification, prior auth, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, pre-determination).
- Basic computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint).
- HIPAA-compliant field/program support; virtual issue resolution.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and collaboration; excellent verbal/written communication.
- Field-based: must live in territory or immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%; face-to-face and credentialing requirements within territory.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000.00–$211,000.00.
