Territory/Role Scope (remote & field-based): Louisville, KY; Lexington, KY; Indianapolis, IN. Reside within territory or within ~60 miles of the territory border. Travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities:
- Support patient access within assigned accounts by providing proactive, face-to-face education on product-specific programs to providers and staff.
- Analyze and solve access/reimbursement problems involving payer policies (utilization management, denials, appeals), drug acquisition/inventory, and patient/practice reimbursement (co-pay, administration, drug claims). Identify local/regional/national trends to support patient pull-through.
- Interface with the Patient Support Center (hub) for case management: tracking cases, issue resolution, reimbursement support, and educating office staff. Review patient-specific information when requested and health info is available.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share customer access/reimbursement insights and barriers.
- Follow company policies and handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with HIPAA and internal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (business and/or biological science preferred; advanced degree preferred).
- 3–5+ years’ experience in third-party reimbursement or pharma (managed care, clinical support, or sales).
- Specialty pharmacy buy-and-bill experience; coding/billing and office support program experience.
- Prior account management/complex accounts experience (payer landscape, high patient volume, large systems).
- Knowledge of managed care and government/federal payer sectors and integrated delivery networks.
- Team collaboration skills; reside within territory and ability to travel; valid driver’s license.

- Experience in buy-and-bill environments supporting provider-administered therapies reimbursement and access.
