Position Summary:
- Lead and coach a team of Access & Reimbursement Managers (ARMs) responsible for nephrology healthcare provider account access/fulfillment and execution of the patient access field reimbursement strategy. Enable healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with information, tools, and resources to start and stay on therapy. Foster compliant cross-functional communications (Patient Experience, Specialty Pharmacy, Market Access, Field Sales).
- Mentor/develop a team skilled in nephrology, healthcare marketplace, and access/fulfillment; deliver access/fulfillment impact for patients starting or staying on Travere therapy.
- Preference to reside in/near Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; or within assigned region with access to a major airport.

Responsibilities:
- Hire, mentor, develop, and lead field access/reimbursement team.
- Use KPIs/analytics to optimize execution; develop short/long-term strategic plans.
- Build region vision and team culture; motivate performance; forge customer relationships; achieve goals.
- Manage performance, coaching, training, and regulatory/policy compliance.
- Identify/address patient access obstacles (pharmacy benefit, specialty pharmacy, REMS).
- Develop regional business plan; be expert in product access/reimbursement; provide training.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with field sales/leadership; create communication cadence across ARMs, hub services, REMS, specialty pharmacy, and payer team.
- Support development via field and virtual calls; resolve issues; provide feedback.
- Cultivate key account relationships; train on coverage/criteria changes; ensure pull-through messaging; analyze performance and gaps.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education + experience).
- 10+ years pharma/biotech (specialty pharma, nephrology, rare disease, REMS preferred).
- 5+ years specialty medicines with deep access/reimbursement landscape knowledge.
- 3+ years field reimbursement manager.
- 3+ years first-line team leader with coaching/capability/people development.

- Experience with access complexities for new-to-market meds; specialty pharmacy networks.
- Strong relationships with HCPs, office staff, sales, and hub counterparts.
- Knowledge of private/commercial and government reimbursement (Medicare Part D, VA, etc.); reimbursement education (benefit verification, prior auth, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, pre-determination).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to resolve issues/educate virtually; strong organization, multitasking, collaboration, attention to detail; strong verbal/written communication.
- Line management experience; project planning and critical path management.
- Field-based role: live in region/immediate adjacency with major airport; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Travel up to 50%.

- Target base pay range: $189,000.00–$246,000.00.
