Position Summary:
- Lead and coach a team of Access & Reimbursement Managers (ARMs) responsible for access and fulfillment across nephrology HCP accounts and execution of the patient access field reimbursement strategy.
- Enable providers, patients, and caregivers with information/tools to start and stay on therapy; foster compliant cross-functional communications (Patient Experience, Specialty Pharmacy, Market Access, Field Sales).

Responsibilities:
- Hire, mentor, develop, and lead the field access/reimbursement team.
- Use KPIs/analytics to optimize field execution; develop strategic plans and manage tactics.
- Build regional vision and team culture; deliver performance coaching and training for regulatory/policy compliance.
- Lead expediting patient access; address access/fulfillment obstacles (pharmacy benefit, specialty pharmacy, REMS).
- Build regional business plan; be an access/reimbursement product expert and provide training/direction.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration; manage communication cadence across ARMs, hub services, REMS, specialty pharmacy, payer team.
- Conduct field/virtual calls for development, issue resolution, and feedback; build key account relationships to support FILSPARI onboarding.
- Train on coverage changes; ensure pull-through access/fulfillment messaging; analyze performance gaps and address capability needs.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years pharma/biotech/relevant (preferred: specialty pharma, nephrology, rare disease, REMS).
- 5+ years specialty medicines with deep access/reimbursement landscape (HUBs, payers, specialty pharmacies).
- 3+ years field reimbursement manager.
- 3+ years first-line team leadership with coaching/capability/people development.
- Preferred experience managing access complexities for new-to-market meds; specialty pharmacy network products.
- Strong reimbursement education knowledge (benefit verification, prior auth, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, pre-determination).

Skills/Requirements:
- Cross-functional training/operations/payer project leadership.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong collaboration and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle.
- Field-based in assigned region (near major airport); travel up to 50%.
- Ability to perform face-to-face customer/work with ongoing credentialing in territory.

- Target base pay range: $189,000.00–$246,000.00.
