Responsibilities:
- Serve as enterprise US market access leader for assigned pipeline brand(s), owning integrated US Market Access strategies and US GTN forecasts.
- Develop and shape US market access strategy across development phases to support payer/policy access; evolve value proposition and deliverables to maximize brand performance and patient access.
- Lead development of US MA strategies across therapy areas with internal partners (payer, provider, patient access, pricing/contracting, trade/distribution, health system channels); influence Global MA assumptions and support global governance inputs.
- Build and maintain early US Market Access Roadmap/access journey (access landscape, segmentation, pricing/contracting assumptions, payer strategy, patient services, channel/distribution, gross-to-net forecasts, early go-to-market planning).
- Assess payer perspectives (unmet need, clinical value, differentiation, access/reimbursement risks) and develop mitigation strategies.
- Influence evidence generation plans to incorporate clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes.
- Design/execute/synthesize US market research (qual/quant/syndicated) and present insights.
- Monitor trends/policy/competitive/reimbursement issues; adjust strategies as needed.
- Transition access strategy to in-line Access Optimization Director for successful launch execution.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 7+ years market access experience; led US market access strategies across channels/customer segments.
- Ability to lead/influence cross-functional strategy in a matrixed organization.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MPH/MS/PharmD).
- Translate outcomes/data into actionable payer/market access strategies.
- Strong US policy/pricing/finance/forecasting knowledge.
- Understanding drug development/value evidence and therapeutic market dynamics.
- Experience across Commercial/Medicare/Medicaid/hospital/IDN/health system/organized customers (incl. 340B, site-of-care).
- Strong executive communication; influence without authority.
- Manage competing priorities; agency/vendor experience.
Location/Work arrangement:
- Philly or Durham; hybrid, onsite 2β3 days/week.
