About The Role
The GSK US Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional engages physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products, influencing prescribing versus competitive therapies through compliant, face-to-face interactions in alignment with approved indications and prescribing information.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products through targeted, compliant, evidence-based customer engagement.
- Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals.
- Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate with local territory colleagues to maximize reach and frequency.
- Build partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other stakeholders to align strategy and resources.
- Plan and deliver in-services, educational programs, and sample distribution in accordance with FDA regulations and company policy.
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (sample accountability, call reporting, eLearning, expense reporting).
- Comply with GSK policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license; driving is essential.
- Travel within the territory, including occasional overnight/weekend travel.
- Grade 8: 2+ years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience.
- Grade 7: 5+ years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (based on location).
- Account management experience within local IDNs/large hospital systems.
- Respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales experience.
- Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and business planning skills.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
