Role Summary

3rd shift - Material Handler / Hilo Driver - Holland - $21.00/hr. Perrigo is hiring for distribution roles involving driving powered industrial equipment, with shifts including 2nd or 3rd. This role includes receiving incoming product, picking customer orders, and loading trucks for shipment, along with operating forklifts and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, receive incoming product, pick customer orders, and load trucks for shipment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks) and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and twisting.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED; excellent attendance and work history.
• Required: Valid driver‚Äôs license or minimum 1 year of motorized forklift or Hilo driving experience. In some cases, other driving experience may be considered in lieu of a license.
• Required: Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime availability; willing to train on other shifts.
• Required: Core skills within 1 month; basic computer skills; basic math and reading comprehension.
• Required: Understands and values safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures.
• Required: Ability to stand for the length of shift (approximately 85% standing) with breaks every 2 hours; good vision and hearing; coordination of eye, hand, and feet.
• Preferred: If no valid license, additional vision and physical requirements will be evaluated.

• Basic computer literacy; ability to navigate computer-based training systems.
• Strong safety mindset; teamwork; attention to detail; problem-solving for pallet stacking and loading.
• Simple/complex problem-solving for loading trailers and ensuring loads are balanced and safe.

Education
