Role Summary

3rd shift Material Handler / Hilo Driver located in Allegan. Responsible for receiving incoming product, picking customer orders, and loading trucks for shipment. Operates powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks) and performs physical duties required to move and prepare items for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product, pick customer orders, and load trucks for shipment to customers.
• Operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and dock trucks.
• Perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, twisting, and repetitive movements.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED; excellent attendance and work history.
• Required: Valid driver‚Äôs license or minimum 1 year of motorized forklift or Hilo driving experience; ability to train on other shifts; 40 hours per week with overtime availability.
• Required: Ability to complete core skills within 30 days; basic computer skills; ability to navigate computer-based training systems; basic math and reading comprehension.
• Required: Safety-minded with strong teamwork, quality orientation, and attention to detail; ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures.
• Required: Ability to stand for extended periods (approximately 85% of shift) with breaks every 2 hours; vision/hearing adequate to read labels and instructions; eye-hand-foot coordination.
• If no valid driver‚Äôs license, evaluation for vision and other physical requirements will be conducted.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy; proficiency with point-and-click interfaces.
• Basic math and reading comprehension; ability to interpret information.
• Strong safety awareness, teamwork, and attention to quality.
• Ability to read and write in English; basic to intermediate problem-solving for pallet stacking and loading.

Education

Additional Requirements
