3rd Shift Lead Compounder

Lead Compounder (2nd shift) — Bronx, New York

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour; 5x8 schedule. (Union position)

Scope of the Role / Responsibilities:
- Compound batches from a copy of the master formula; direct operators/compounders.
- Weigh raw materials; monitor batch procedures; maintain operating schedule.
- Set up and operate various kettles and pumps; move materials to/from compounding area.
- Sign batch records and make log entries; complete required SOP sign-offs.
- Follow written instructions and all SOPs for MFG/Compounding.
- Complete equipment/container/area setups; clean equipment/container/area as needed.
- Cooperate with QA inspectors; follow appropriate cleaning procedures.
- Maintain daily professional work relationships; review compounder/set-up operator activity to ensure work completion.
- Follow all safety rules, company policies, and procedures; ensure water requirements are met as needed.
- Monitor batches as processed and ensure batches are properly manufactured.

Qualifications / Experience:
- One year of compounding experience preferred.
- Able to read English; sign batch records and log entries after each step.
- Able to lift materials/equipment weighing 25–50 lbs.
- Able to wear full/half face respirator.
