2nd Shift Lead Compounder

Description Overview
- Lead Compounder (2nd shift), Bronx, New York
- Union position; Pay Rate: $25.00/hour; 5x8 schedule

Scope of the Role / Responsibilities
- Compound batches from a copy of the master formula; direct operators/compounders
- Weigh raw materials, monitor batch procedures, and set up equipment for manufacturing
- Operate kettles and pumps; move materials to/from the compounding area
- Monitor batches as processed; ensure batches are properly manufactured
- Follow written instructions and all SOPs for MFG/Compounding
- Complete required sign-offs; review compounders/set-up operators’ work
- Sign batch records and make log entries; cooperate with QA inspectors
- Follow appropriate cleaning procedures; clean equipment/containers/area as needed
- Maintain operating schedule and required professional working relationships
- Follow all safety rules and company policies/procedures
- Ensure all water requirements are obtained as needed

Experience / Qualifications
- One year of compounding experience preferred
- Read English; sign batch records and log entries after each step
- Lift materials/equipment weighing 25–50 lbs
- Wear full/half face respirator
