Role Summary
2026 Clinical Trial Operations Extern
Responsibilities
- Join AbbVie's Headquarters in Lake County, IL during August 2026 for a two-day, unpaid externship focused on clinical trial operations.
- Gain hands-on experience in key business areas and participate in cross-functional professional development opportunities.
- Build an extended network of AbbVie representatives, senior leaders, and students from across the country.
- Be considered for an internship for the following summer within Clinical Trial Operations.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with an emphasis on Science
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 - June 2028
- Preferred: Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and integrity
- Preferred: Business mindset and excellent communication, leadership, project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Preferred: Microsoft Excel or other database experience
