Role Summary

Two 12-month rotational assignments over two years within AbbVie’s Clinical Trial Operations Development Program (CTODP). Rotations provide global exposure to Clinical Operations leadership and help develop functional and leadership capabilities for accelerated career progression within Clinical Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in two 12-month rotational assignments across Clinical Data Strategy & Operations, Study Management Associate Organization, and Clinical Acceleration and Performance.
  • Contribute to planning, execution, and oversight of clinical studies or trials within assigned rotations.
  • Support protocol and informed consent development, study startup, operational logistics, and vendor management as applicable to the SMAO rotation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including data management, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, technology, and clinical site management to ensure studies are conducted efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Engage in data strategy, governance, and analysis activities to support regulatory submissions and evidence generation where applicable.
  • Apply data science, technology, and clinical expertise to improve trial efficiency, recruitment, and site engagement during the CAP rotation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with an emphasis on Science
    • Expected graduation date between December 2025 – June 2026
    • Must be willing to relocate to AbbVie’s corporate headquarters in north suburban Chicago
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and integrity
    • Excellent communication, leadership, project management, problem solving, analytical skills, and business mindset
    • Microsoft Excel or other database experience is a plus
