2026 Automated Biologics Purification Process Development Co-Op (Jun - Dec).
Responsibilities
Executing wet-lab chromatography experiments using AKTA and sample analysis using HPLC.
Working with cross-functional teams to integrate different instruments into a closed loop.
Writing and debugging Python code for instrument control and data parsing.
Applying machine learning for process development and/or optimization.
Presenting results through internal and/or external posters, oral presentations or publications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op
Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
Strong communication skills and passionate about automation, modeling and biologics process development
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with lab automation, Python, optimization algorithms, OPC, Ignition
Exposure to chromatography (AKTA, HPLC), filtration and monoclonal antibody (mAb) or other biologics downstream purification process development
Understanding of machine learning concepts including regression and classification
