The Women’s Health Clinical Account Specialist (WHCAS) supports customers by providing clinical information, education, and clinical training support for the company’s products.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver balanced product sales presentations and serve as a product/clinical expert to encourage proper utilization.
- Understand managed care and reimbursement; communicate proficiently with customer segments.
- Build and maintain customer partnerships; provide updates on customer needs, feedback, market dynamics, and progress to quality goals.
- Develop short- and long-term account plans; run product in-services and conduct routine business reviews.
- Monitor business performance vs. objectives; identify competitive activity and market trends.
- Develop/execute territory and account business plans in line with policies/ethics; maintain product/ecosystem knowledge and certifications.
- Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time.
- Act as primary point of contact for select accounts, understand practice structure/business model/key influencers, and identify opportunities.
- Support complex procurement environments (Buy and Bill, AOB, 340B) and related payer/procurement pathways (e.g., Medicaid/managed Medicaid, Kaiser, MSOs, GPOs, IPA, ACA, family planning waivers/grants, federal/national policies).
- Coordinate with extended team on customer strategy for improved customer/patient support.
Required:
- BA/BS + 2+ years sales OR 6+ years equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; analyze metrics; work independently and in teams.
- Flexibility in fast-paced environment; strong organization/time management.
- Valid driver’s license; travel as needed; willingness to complete credentialing.
Preferred:
- BA/BS + 6+ years sales OR 10+ years equivalent with 4+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
- Prior consultative/account management/customer service experience; Buy and Bill experience; women’s health industry experience.
Location/Other:
- Must reside in Phoenix, AZ area. Travel 10–20%. Reports to Regional Manager.
