The Womenโs Health Clinical Account Specialist (WHCAS) supports customers by providing clinical information on Company products, education, and clinical training programs. Serves as a key, customer-facing partner to address identified customer needs, educate stakeholders, and drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver balanced product sales presentations; align customer needs with Company products and labeling/professional society recommendations.
- Serve as a product expert; convey technical/clinical information to encourage proper utilization.
- Understand and communicate the local managed care and reimbursement environment.
- Build and maintain strong customer partnerships.
- Provide management updates on customer needs, patient outcome improvements, feedback, marketplace dynamics, and quality-goal progress.
- Manage complex account interdependencies; develop short- and long-term account plans.
- Conduct routine product in-services and account reviews.
- Monitor performance vs. objectives; assess competitive activity and market trends.
- Develop and execute territory/account business plans.
- Maintain product/ecosystem knowledge and certification.
- Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time.
Specifically:
- Be primary point of contact for select accounts; understand practice structure/business model/influencers and identify opportunities.
- Support complex procurement channels (e.g., Buy and Bill, AOB, 340B) and managed care/Medicaid/Kaiser/MSO/GPO/IPA pathways; understand ACA, family planning waivers/grants, policies, and religious exemptions.
- Coordinate with extended customer team to outline interaction/relationship strategy.
Required:
- BA/BS plus 2โ6 years sales OR 6+ years equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; analyze metrics.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Flexibility for a fast-paced environment; strong organization/time management.
- Valid driverโs license; travel as needed.
- Willingness to complete credentialing.
Preferred:
- BA/BS plus 6โ8 years sales OR 10+ years equivalent with 4+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
- Prior sales/account management/consultative/customer service experience; Buy and Bill experience; womenโs health industry experience.
