Wetlab Supervisor, Surgical Training Research & Development Process & Product Design

Role: R&D Lab Supervisor leading technical and personnel activities in the development of electro-mechanical medical devices within a regulated GxP environment. Responsibilities: manage daily lab operations, coordinate design, development, and testing activities, oversee wet labs and vendor interactions, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices. Collaborate with R&D management, project engineers, and external vendors to meet project priorities and deliverables. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of relevant laboratory and team management experience, strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, and familiarity with GxP regulations. Preferred: experience in medical device R&D, protocol authoring, and cross-functional team leadership. High-Value: focus on medical device development, electro-mechanical testing, regulated laboratory settings, and international travel (10-35%) for project coordination. Work setup: primarily on-site with travel as needed.
