Warehouse Associates are accountable for accurately performing a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for receipt, storage, transporting, picking, packing, shipping, staging, delivery, etc. of product that may be hazardous, temperature sensitive, or of high value.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with policies and procedures to maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental agency standards.
- Comprehend and accurately process paperwork per policies and procedures.
- Adapt to fast-changing work demand.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of the operation while maintaining a low level of quality mistakes.
- Receive and inspect inbound product/material for infestation, overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct number and type of product.
- Transfer and locate material/product to general storage or shipping locations.
- Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and address against the customer’s order to ensure complete and accurate outgoing shipments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; ability to complete basic math and read/understand training documents, product labeling, and warehouse signage written in English.
- Pass medical screening and background checks.
- Self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong multi-tasking skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, computer skills, and RF scanners; problem-solving and effective verbal/written communication.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. (and/or more with assistance); bend, reach, stoop, climb, stand, and walk for 8+ hours.
- Operate warehouse material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand tools) with high productivity and accuracy.
- Wear required PPE.
- Ability to work in 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F) environment.
