Role Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of the warehouse at the Iovance Cell Therapy Center (iCTC) in Navy Yard, PA. They allocate resources to meet deadlines, monitor warehouse staff productivity, and shift focus as needed. They propose strategies to improve efficiencies, compliance, safety, and customer service standards to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule daily workloads for warehouse team members to meet output targets within defined timelines and evaluate outputs against KPI targets.
  • Monitor the flow of goods to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately; alert management to gaps and implement resolution efforts to mitigate delays.
  • Contribute to educational curricula for warehouse SOPs and train new hires or existing employees on relevant skills.
  • Research inventory discrepancies, reconcile in the inventory management system, and Recommend preventive measures to avoid variances.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lean six sigma projects to drive efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Monitor equipment and facilities, update procedures to reflect improvements or corrective actions.
  • Lead audit preparation and implement corrective actions from audit observations.
  • Oversee cleaning duties and waste disposal in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate technical training on SOPs and certifications (e.g., cGMP, HAZMAT, forklift).
  • Adhere to safety, security procedures, and company policies and ethics.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to deliver results within guidelines.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced small company environment and changing priorities; strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) required.
  • Team-oriented; proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; able to operate ERP/MES software.
  • Valid driver license; willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and staggered shifts.

Education
