Warehouse Operator II
Shift Hours: 1st shift Monday 7am–6:30pm and Tuesday–Friday 7am–3:30pm
Responsibilities (Essential):
- Process materials accurately, including receiving, put away, and shipping (unloading, scanning, moving, loading, picking, relocating, stacking).
- Train new Warehouse Operators I on best practices.
- Meet safety, security, and productivity standards.
- Prepare orders for shipping by picking, scanning, and packing accurately and timely.
- Receive products from manufacturers and accurately record information.
- Perform replenishment by comparing product description to restocking request form and physical location.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
- Process customer returns (classify back to stock, damages, and expired products).
- Prepare debit memos to vendors.
- Operate hand lift; must be able to be certified in power forklift operation.
- Load and unload freight trucks.
- Lift up to 50 lbs; maintain warehouse tidiness and cleanliness; work overtime when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or distribution of perishable goods.
- Minimum 1 year warehouse work experience.
- Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and material handling.
Skills/Abilities:
- Train/coaching others; team collaboration and communication with associates/leads/management.
- Basic math.
- Willing to work overtime, report on time, and work special projects/Saturdays.
- Clear oral/written communication; adapt to changes; strong sense of urgency.
