      Role Summary
 Warehouse Operator I who under close supervision processes materials to support companywide operations, ensuring safety, security and productivity. This role may be in a training capacity with limited prior work experience required.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
 
 - Prepares orders for shipping by picking, scanning and packing accurately and timely.
 
 - Performs replenishment activities; compares product descriptions to restocking requests and physical location.
 
 - Conducts cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
 
 - Processes returns from customers; classifies back to stock, damages and expired products.
 
 - Prepares debit memos to vendors.
 
 - Operates hand lift; certification in power forklift operation may be required.
 
 - Loads and unloads freight trucks.
 
 - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
 
 - Maintains tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse.
 
 - Flexible, willing to work overtime when necessary.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - High School Diploma or equivalent.
 
 - Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or distribution of perishable goods.
 
 - Minimum of one year of warehouse work experience.
 
 - Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and material handling techniques.
 
 
 
 Skills
 
 - Training and coaching other warehouse personnel.
 
 - Teamwork; provide assistance and direction to team members; liaison between associates, leads and management.
 
 - Basic mathematical computations and applications.
 
 - Willingness to work overtime, punctuality, and availability for special projects and Saturdays.
 
 - Clear and concise written and oral communication.
 
 - Adaptability to changes and various assignments.
 
 - Demonstrates urgency and time management to complete assignments on time.
 
 
 
 Education
 
 - High School Diploma or equivalent.
 
 - Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or distribution of perishable goods.
 
 - Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
 
 - Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans and material handling techniques.
 
 
 
 Additional Requirements
 
 - Physical demands: extended standing, walking, pushing/pulling, stooping, crouching, climbing; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to electrical hazards or dangerous tools/equipment; may require early morning, evening, or weekend hours.
 
 - Personal protective equipment (PPE) usage as needed.
