Role Summary

Warehouse Associates are accountable for accurately performing a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for receipt, storage, transporting, picking, packing, shipping, staging, delivery, and related activities of product that may be hazardous, temperature sensitive, or of high value, while aligning with company values.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inventory verification and reconciliation using methods such as cycle counting, warehouse inquiries, audit visits, and monitoring both inbound and outbound activities.
  • Comply with all global and local SOPs and procedures to meet compliance requirements, training, safety, distribution practices, GxP, and governmental agency standards.
  • Operate forklift equipment.
  • Stage pallets at heights up to 50 feet.
  • Process finished goods returns, collaborate with customer service teams, and utilize SAP for return receipt management (preferred).
  • Independently handle warehouse damages using the destruction system and SAP; assess potentially damaged finished goods and oversee outbound shipments of disposition materials.
  • Accurately process paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to fast-changing workload demands.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the distribution process to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Transfer and locate material/product to storage or shipping locations; problem-solve and correct discrepancies, routing to appropriate locations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of related experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical operations setting involving inventory.
  • Ability to read and understand training documents, product labeling, and warehouse signage written in English.
  • Pass background checks that may be conducted by local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with moderate supervision and focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-changing work demand.
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP/EWM; familiarity with Microsoft Office, general computer skills, RF scanners; ability to analyze, think creatively, decide, and communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • Capability to pass and sustain one or more: CDA certification and/or TSA screener and/or EH&S Hazardous Material of Trade Shipping IATA/DOT and/or IMDG and/or FTZ training.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more with assistance; ability to bend, reach, stoop, climb, stand, and walk for an 8-hour shift or longer; ability to work in an environment ranging from -20°C to 30°C (-4°F to 86°F).
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hand tools, and other warehouse devices while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to complete assigned tasks.
